Just moved from there and was texting with my former neighbor today. We mostly fished North Creek and he mentioned the commercial guys with the nets are really screwing things up right now.
What little is being caught is further up stream or a hole in the channels. Go into little Washington to the East Side bait shop and talk to the locals.. Some good folks there and very helpful once you become a regular there.
Thanks I fish mostly from Belhaven to SwanQuarter. Did you get that far

I went across a few times with my neighbor because he had a boat. Saw a guy each time cross over in a kayak but no way was i going to attempt that. Seemed like those winds always picked up when i wanted to call it a day. Even North Creek would get some 2 - 3 foot waves now and then.
Some good fishing over SwanQuarter, i believe that is where the tournaments would take place from Potters marina. At sun rise it looked like the Indy 500 with all the boats heading out.

On the Mississippi we work deep , slow current . They seem to localize in those areas !
