I’ve always used 9 ft tapered Rio leaders and I add 5x tippet to elongate. I got a guide in NZ once and was using a 20ft leader. I’ve been wondering since: What products do I use to build my own long leader?

Why not use different weights of tippet working down to the thinnest at the end?
