Try and get together with a local fisherman... There's some near you there, that "post" on here.

Yeah I strapped a nice trout to my waist and then realized I might be chumming for something toothier

In Pinellas county which St Pete is in Spotted Sea Trout, Redfish and Snook are catch and release only. You get caught with one you'll loose the fish and a pile of money and may get jail time as well.

Must have been 2019. Your post was a little lacking on details and post head said new member. Sorry if I offended you. Glad you are up the regs. I found a way to hook up snook with fly rod if your interested.
