Has anyone tried to buy a fish finder that would work on both a kayak and a boat? This is to say, where only the display would be moved around? If so, how did it work out... what worked? What didnt work? Thanks

I think all you would need is a separate transducer mounted on each boat plus mounting bracket.

yes i have done this on my kayak and 14 ft. john boat. i had to get the cable that fits the fish finder that you have also have to get a mount that goes to the same fish finder that you enten to use. I have not had any problems so what ever. workes great.
