Hi everyone,
Caught a few keeper Black Drum and Sheepshead the other day. I usually saute them with a little Salt, Pepper, Onion and Garlic powder. Anyone have other suggestions?
Thanks
Paul

I have made tacos from them. I Bar B Q them in foil. Season with a little salt & pepper and heavy on the chilli powder. Throw some cilantro pinch of lime on corn tortillas with the fish and a cold cevaza. Very tasty, easy and healthy.....sorta LOL!

Butter or sour cream. I also use spices called Soul Seasoning. It gives the food your cooking a little more kick, but it's not hot. Now if you want your fish to haul off and kick you with his boot getting stuck in your a##. The cook with the red pepper seeds. You know, like the kind you get at pizza joints. Gotta nuff surgesttons?
Dange spel thingy brok.

Sounds good to me what your doing but I wrote down everybody's recipe for later use.
Thank You everyone for the suggestions. I went with my original seasoning because the wife cant handle the heat and i didnt have the ingredients for Tacos. I think the stuff for tacos will be on the shopping list for the next batch. I really appreciate everyones help.
Wow! Do you realize that we have enumerated more super delicious recipes here, and at other times in other postings, we could compile them all and create a super cookbook?
So, all we need now is a volunteer to collect them and some of the others that have been floated. Do we have a volunteer? No, I am too old and have too much on my plate. Just Sayin...RJS

That is how my wife is - no heat and not much else either. So I do fish in two separate ways - hers and mine! Win - Win.

Wife is in the process of making some for tonight. That's some kumquat marmalade in the back ground. Made that yesterday.
