Good ones, Hack ! The Arizona
'dry heat' routine seldom fails to bring someone a smile; the
photo Hack submitted can be
true in many 'northern' or
'elevated' locations in the state, but is very seldom seen in the 'Valley of the Sun' ! Only
remember seeing ANY snow accumulation way back about
20 years ago, but only about
2" and only as far south as Bell Road in Scottsdale/North
Phoenix !
The snow photo reflects
winter in the north country or elevations above 5,000 ft. in
the winter ! The second photo
depicts our summer climate in
the 'Valley', from mid-June to
mid-September !

Thanks for sharing, Hack.
I liked the first 3 best. On the Eastern side of Arizona you can get drifts up to 30 feet deep. In Jan 1968 Flagstaff had a snow storm. 54 inches in 8 hours 8 feet in 24 hours. My Dad told me that when I called home from Frisco.
"Don't home home from LA, go to Diego to come across." I asked why and he told me about Flagstaff. I took my ship to the East coast, Norfolk and caught a MATS Hop home.
