I guess it depends on your definition of regular fishing?
Some folks only fish for bass.
Bass will eat live bait, as well as artificial lures and some lures will catch anything that swims.

Well, an awful lot of us consider bass fishing to be regular fishing. You will have to define "regular fishing" if it is different. Justr Sayin...RJS

I agree with OJ and Robert. I fish with live bait and lures in the hope of catching a bass or northern.

Well, let's see...
"Bass fishing" is fishing for bass... specifically.
"Trout fishing" would be fishing for trout..... specifically.
"Crappie fishing", "Catfish fishing", "Panfish fishing"....& on & on & on.....ALL THE ABOVE ARE "REGULAR FISHING"...LOL !

Your delineation is embraced only by those consider they have somehow entered an elite world of rarified air when they learn to use a Senko or "walk a frog".

BOO-YAH !!!!
