Welcome J2S. You need to PM "threeCs". He lives and fishes at Lavon.
Sorry j2s. No idea where that's at. But welcome to the stage. Lots of Texans on here and I imagine you're gonna be hearing from em.
J2S, welcome to the forum and to the Lake Lavon area. I live in far north Dallas and fish mostly for crappie and mostly at Lake Lavon. It's a good crappie lake. I fish the west arm of the lake and sometimes along the dam. It's an old lake, but still has a lot of submerged trees/stumps/brush, with some tops and stickups still above water. PM me if you have any questions and I'll do the best I can to answer them.
Welcome and good luck!
Thanks, we just moved to Princeton so Lavon is just a few minutes away. I’m from Colorado so most of my fishing was for trout. I did some bass fishing but not very much.
they will start to spawn in the next month or two [crappie] when i lived there my favorite place was under and around the docks at the south end
its a great crappie lake
Yes that’s what I’ve been hearing. We live up on by the North end so I hoping I can find some spots up here.
