What is this. What would you use it for. What is a good length. How do you keep them. Do you ever use them. When should you change them out. Unscramble this and they are very challenging to hunt
PIGSRN BREGLOB.

Spring gobbles are quite fun to hunt Mike. I only use steel leaders for bluefish and northern pike.

I think it Steel Cable but cant see it real well. If it gets frayed or if monofilament it needs to be changed if it gets nicked or scraped up. It can make changing lures or leaders easier with having a snap on one end.

RN PIGS = Maybe pet pigs that can give you a vaccination?
Gobbler = Turkey

Sorry I couldn't figure out the first but I tried.

Thanks Mike for always doing this buddy

Mike, I use a small leader attached to clear, 17# test on my brush rod which I keep in my Turkey blind. The swivel clip is attached to the split ring on one of my Turkey decoys. The split ring when pulled, is attached to a spring loaded mechanism which raises and lowers the fanned out tail to simulate a Tom strutting. I pull and the tail goes down. I release and the tail goes up. I open the bail on the POS spinning reel and place the decoy close to a hen at about 20yds. When they are hot, the Toms come sprinting in to kick some a$$. That decoy catches hell some days 😉

I only use leaders for Northern Pike and Musky. Sharp teeth can shred most lines.

I think that's a Leader line. I may have used them a couple of times. I've never hunted any SPRING GOBBLER. 👍
