For the past 6 weeks or so I have had sudden onset headaches that just as strangely go away when I sit down. No medication required to make them go away. Last week I had x-rays, MRI / MRA done. Based on the results of the MRI / MRA my primary care doctor sent me to a neurosurgeon yesterday. The diagnosis is a subdural hematoma. Sounds scary, doesn’t it?! He thinks it was caused by me hitting my head. I do remember a slight bump on the head last fall but nothing serious…didn’t “knock me out”. For now I am on reduced activity, steroids, which isn’t great because they keep me from sleeping and reduces immunity during a pandemic. <sigh> We are praying that with rest, steroids, and stopping of low dose aspirin that I have been taking for years it will resolve itself.
I will have several more tests and doctor appointments in the near future.
We will see what the future holds. I trust the doctors but trust my God more. Prayers appreciated.
Give it time Papa. Sometimes these conditions can improve. Nothing but good thoughts for a positive outcome.

Thanks buddy.
Many Prayers, PapaJ. Medically, are you still able to drive a car? Sometimes, they will take your lisc. away. It is not a good idea to drive a car, you could pass out.

Yes sir. Not that severe yet. I'm praying that we caught it in time to prevent it from becoming that severe.
