I went through 2 months of CNA training. We had one, sometimes two tests a week. You had to score 80% or better on them to pass. You could only re-take two. If you failed them again, you were out of the course and lost the $1000 enrollment fee.
Most of the people were really worried on test day. One of the instructors asked me one day, "Greg, you never seem to worry about anything, why? I said, If I thought worrying would change anything, I'd do it all the time. I studied for these tests so I'm ready to take them. Worrying won't improve my score."
Can't say I never worry but try and remember I can handle anything that comes up.

Back in the day, Mary Jane was very helpful in eliminating worry. Hhhmmm, still kind of miss those days! 😁😁😁

My mother is the world champion worrier - she spends her days imagining the most awful outcomes for any given situation. With her it's always "what if". It's gotten her to the age of 99 so who am I to argue? I've observed this behavior over the course of my lifetime and I can see that all of her worrying has never once influenced the outcome of anything she was concerned about. I guess that's why I see worrying as a waste of time and energy. That and regret. Do the best you can, correct your mistakes, strive to improve. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of god.

Words to live by Spirit. Putting the past behind me is my albatross at times. Bitterness and anger get the best of me. I really need to start fishing again. Good for my peace of mind. It will happen soon.
