Fishing New Jersey coast?

Fist time on this blog. Iam jim. I will post fish reports when I go out. Bought a 22 foot Grady white a couple of years ago and I am trying not to winterize it by fishing all year .

Did well for 3 weeks, the last 4 not well at all. Slow fishing and bad weather

We trailer but mostly ocean city to sandy hook. Delaware bay for drum in spring

Never fished below Island Beach. Mostly Sandy Hook and above.

Welcome aboard. I hope it works out ok with your boat. Mine is winterized , not going to chance it. I heard there’s some stripers still around but best bet is tog on the snags. Or back in the rivers for white perch.

Thanks, we have been having up and down success for tog. Hoping for some better weather. Stripers are too far away.

Remember that flounder and Black Sea Bass are closed. Blackfish are okay as are stripers inside of three miles, but not in the rivers.

I wasn't sure about stripers inside the bay. I thought it was only out in the ocean. My friend thinks you can't even launch from in the bay and return with a fish. Do you have know anything about that? Thanks jim
