Highest grossing films of the 50's - half of them were Biblical epics. Times have sure changed. Can you name these and who starred in them? Anybody gets the first one, I'll be shocked. I had never heard of it.
No clue on #1 #2 is The Ten Commandments with dozens of great actors Yul Brenner played Ramses (pictured) #3 is The Bridge on the River Kwai with Alec Guinness and William Holden #4 is South Pacific with Mary Martin? #5 is Ben Hur with Charleston Heston
charlykilo, you had to have looked that up? Mary Martin was in the musical on Broadway. That's Mitzi Gaynor in the photo. Too easy huh? Case you didn't notice, that is Obi-Wan Kenobi wearing those khakis.
Robert I usually can't remember where I put my keys, but for some reason these old movies (and some of the newer ones) linger on. I just love movies, always have.
