I'm stuck on a fish food that I use to cook for my wife when I cooked crab legs for dinner. There solid round white discs that I cooked in garlic butter with a hint of lemon. The name just escapes me.
I hate getting old or maybe it's the drugs. Maybe it's both. All I know is that I hate it all.

Scallops is what I was looking for. You guys are fast. Thanks a million for everything.
You know I cooked sea scallops once. They turned out rubbery and difficult to eat.

Just don’t over cook them.
We buy them at Costco here when the fresh sea food vendor is there.
The frozen ones there are good also.

You overcooked them. Get them dry on a paper towel, give them a light coat of oil, drop them in a hot skillet. When it's not stuck any more flip it for about 2 or 3 minutes and that's it. You can also saute in butter, but about 2 or three minutes to a side.
You gotta wrap them with Bacon! MMMMMMMMM GOOD!

There's more than 1 way, to prepare scallops for eating. (I've scraped 'em right outta the shell, into my mouth, after throwing the guts away...)
I'm pretty sure, that at THIS POINT; I'd look for a seafood cooking website for ideas. (I've had 'em fried, baked, broiled, also DEEP-fried... Wrapped in bacon, yes(mm mm good!) ...

Okay. Mr. Fredfish. Answer me this.
