Welcome to the Forum, DD. Do they have a pier, if so try it there and then talk to the locals and pick their brain as to where else to go and try it?
Live shrimp will probably be your best bet.

Check out the piers in the area. Usually they have bait shops and plenty of people to ask advise. Good luck.
