Thanks for the prayers and kind words. My dog is home after two nights in the hospital. No surgery required. Amazingly he was able to pass all of the aluminum.
He feels great but apparently missed our bed! I sure did miss him. He is 60 lbs and sleeps between my wife and I with his head on a pillow between us. A tad spoiled.
