Hi all, total newbie to this forum. Heading out to Anacapa tomorrow from channel Islands Harbor in our 26’ Carver flying bridge...wondering if there any tips on best places to find the big ones?

Best, A

I just wanted to welcome you Altmuse. I can’t help you but I’m sure there will be some Southern California fisher people that will be along shortly. Nice boat. Good luck and remember we love pictures.

Welcome to the Fishing Stage, Altmuse! Oxnard is my hometown. Class of '81 at OHS. I grew up fishing there from Malibu up to Santa Barbara (Piers, beach, jetties, etc). We didn't have a boat so we always chartered from CISCO (Channel Islands Sportfishing) They are great! I really do not know all the waypoints they fish, but they always put you on them. I would suggest taking a day or half day charter with them to see where they fish. If you have a GPS, mark where they stop, then set those coordinates on your boat ;-)
