Haven't fished it in 20 years, but use to slay them this time of year when I lived in Tahoe.

Mt brother lives in Walker/Coleville. He told me yesterday he was going to go, but it was really cold, so he cancelled.

My brother fished Topaz on 1/16/21. Caught 2, lost 4 more due to goofing around. Just powerbait and eggs from the bank. I was gonna go last week too, but buddy cancelled out with mild case of COVID. I'll get there soon as the weather gets a little better..

My brother and niece caught 2 limits from the bank on Feb 23. So I drove up there and fished on the 26th. The wind came up with gusts of 50+ mph, and it got so cold I quit after 2 hours. The fishing is slow some days, great on other days right now. Best fishing seems to be after 2pm.
