drove Chevy's from 1960 t0 1974 then switched to Dodge. Drove every Dodge I owned over 200K miles, swapped them out for side work from my carpenters. My 1982 Dodge 1500 van is still on the road with over 385K miles. My painter says the best swap he ever made.

I have to agree with you guys !!!!! When you use your old Ford constantly to drag Chevy's back home the tend to die after 3 or 400 thousand miles. Sometimes just left as land marks. But I have to say , Chevy guys are skinnyer there used to walking.πŸ€£πŸ˜…πŸ˜†

Got it all correct there Egg! GMC
Products- garage mans companions. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Still have the 72 GMC 4x4 85,000 original miles that I either need to sell or get it restored. It is in good shape but just sitting there.

The rule of thumb at the drag strip 1/10th of a second for every 100 lbs shed you could gain 1/2 to 3/4 by taking the bumper off win or lose nice car

Yeah, that’s it. I bought a β€˜67 Chevy SS, 350, Camero, new, after I got back from Nam. It cost $3150. It blew the doors off 351 Mustangs and other cars. It had a Muncie 4 speed shifter, posi-trac 411 rear end and later I put an Edelbrock high rise intake and headers. I loved that car and never should have sold it. The picture isn’t my car, but that’s what it looked like.

You guys didn't hear me say this. But the old muscle cars were nice, even though they were Chevy's. The real problem with Chevy's, was my ex girlfriend. Back in highschool.lol. her dad owned the Chevy dealership here in RS. I broke up with her to chase other girls. Now, she's the sole owner of the dealership.lol. I coulda been retired by now had she not givin up so easy. Lol. Still won't drive a Chevy. πŸ˜…πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ˜

Thinking with the wrong head has gotten many in trouble.

Hind sight ironic.
