I was going to say that you need a different realtor due to his poor staging ideas but then I read 1.5% and I changed my mind.
They must be really hard up for sales.
Same percentage for finding our new home.
We just have to stand our ground and say we’re not going to do that. I believe that he is trying to make money by fixing up the place.
Four to seven hundred dollars to remove the old wooden sheds but I’m doing it my self for a total $110 with the help of a sawsall tool. That’s two trips to the dump at $55 a trip. I have a shell on the bed of the truck and I don’t want to take it off, so two trips.
I’d do the painting myself but there are holes in the walls behind the furniture where I ran new cable and I’m not good at drywall patching. The old wiring was cloth wrapped and no grounds.
We’re in no hurry to sell being retired and we want to take advantage of the prop 19 that was passed here in California, it will save us a lot of money on the property taxes on the new home.
It’s for us old folks to take advantage of it. It doesn’t go into effect until April, so around that time we’ll put the house on the market. That gives us time to fix up the house.
When the house sells we’re going to live in the RV until we find something we like. With our campground membership we can stay for three weeks no charge then we have to move to a different campground. Hopefully we’ll find something in the three week period.
Good morning and happy snow day, up to a white covering this morning, looks so nice out there. Roads are clear and they're saying most will have passed by late afternoon, on it's way to you Greg, sharing it around

It's here Ronnie. Just a dusting. A little covering on the grass. Btw, you can keep it.
Sounds like Larry M could use your help. He’s been making a lot of dump runs lately.
Good mornin’, Greg and everybody! It’s 39* now; going to 47*, then 50’s the next couple days. Nice....

Sounds like you got it all figured out Larry. That old knob and tube wiring is dangerous stuff. Glad you got rid of it.
Prop 19 is a good thing.
Lynny and I full timed it in a fiver for a year while in between homes. It was a 40’ with 4 sliders, king size bed and washer and dryer so it wasn’t too bad.

SIL in Georgetown sent pictures too. Yep it’s white in Texas.
We stayed in Georgetown the other night on the way down to SPI. It took us 3 days to get the rest of the way through Austin. Not really, but it seemed like it. I won't do that again. We usually take I 130 around Austin but missed the turn.

I bet Marion wasn’t happy with you for missing your exit. Did you hit Austin at rush hour?

Four sliders, sounds like a house. lol.
We have one slider.
Wiring wasn’t the tube and nob, just cloth encased wire. The house was built in the fifties.
Going to have a late breakfast and waiting for it to warm up outside it’s in the high fifties right now, I know but it’s cold for me. lol.
