Well, I caught 8 pups today, released em all so no pictures of fish. Was a beautiful morning no wind and -5 degrees. She's making ice. Took a couple pictures for ya. Was in the firehole canyon area of the gorge.
I've made alot of rod holders over the years. The ones I have now are better than anything you can buy. But for in my hut I tried the big gear ties 5' and there thick. You can bend them anyway u want. Even a big fish can't steel your rod. Lol. You can balance the rod on them and pick up the rod without moving your jig.its fast and easy. You can raise or lower them. Forward or back, side to side. Totally adjustable.

I saw some at tackle Toms designed to be used outside with a slight breeze. They would be easy to make out of PVC and youāve probably seen them. The rod is balance on them and the wind does the jigging for ya. Kinda moves the rod up and down on a swivel point. Of course you know the guys there. āOh yeah these will catch fish that aināt even there. Buy two of emā. š
