I had to buy mine so if you can find someone like a relative or church friend that has one it will save you some bucks as the insurance companies usually will not pay for them. I will try to send a pic of mine.

Well guys, Sue has to go in for surgery on her OTHER shoulder on Jan 18th. Messed up the rotator cuff and snapped the tendon that goes across the top of shoulder to bicep.
Will be in a sling for 6 weeks and can't lift anything for 3 1/2 months after the sling comes off.
That's 5 months that I'm gonna have to stay pretty close to home again.
Don't see any fishin for me for at least 2 or 3 months.
Oh well. At least it's winter time right now. Come March/April I'm gonna be ready to try the bass spawn though.

Hey Steve, just saw your post. Prayers for Sue and hoping surgery and recovery go well. Glad you were able to get lots of fishing time in between the surgeries. Now it's time for Sue again, she'll need you. Good luck buddy

Yeah, I reckon that's why the Lord allowed me the time to go so much and catch so many fish. Getting me ready for round two of her surgery.

My prayers for Sue’s timely recovery and for your mental health.

Just now, spotted this "thread", saw1; maybe ✓ into what the "Social Services" type people call "respite"... All it is; is that an agency with public funding that provides low cost or even free medical/ mental services; also may be able to set you up with a good, right-minded adult, to be at your house, when you need to be gone (to the store &/or wherever). {I went through an extremely distressing period of time, about 15 or so years ago, as my wife was dying of cancer.} [The "Social Worker" at the hospital, is who suggested that to us.]
Also, I'm more than willing to add MY prayers to the effort; but, need her permission. (I just don't like to pray at, about, for, towards &/or regarding anyone, without their knowledge and consent.)

Dang Steve I’m just seeing this, but I’m so sorry Sue has to go through this. We’ll be praying for both of you my friend. Wishing all the best for a full recovery. She’s been through enough already. You’re a good man and a good husband. Take care of yourself as well.
Can't add to much Saw to what has already been said here. Give her my best for a quick recovery. She needs you. You are there for her as I'm sure she is for you. I help people who have no one at all. Sad. But true. Or if they have family, they never see them. Be grateful. You have each other.
