Is this a new injury, or collateral damage from the other fall?
Obviously, this means you won’t be able to come to Kansas in May....? The way that Covid has been progressing (or not) and hearing this week that some states/groups will not even have the vaccines available by then, makes me wonder if the M & G is even a viable option for this May.
What think y’all ??

I am pretty sure that Clinton State Park would give us an equally good deal next year if we decide to postpone till next year.
That is something I can check on to make sure.
Y’all’s safety and health is most important.

I totally agree that a postponement should be in order. we don't have any real data on if the vaccine will work or what this new strain is going to do. seems like the people that have no symptoms are the ones spreading it. 2022works for me

Well guys, Sue has to go in for surgery on her OTHER shoulder on Jan 18th. Messed up the rotator cuff and snapped the tendon that goes across the top of shoulder to bicep.
Will be in a sling for 6 weeks and can't lift anything for 3 1/2 months after the sling comes off.
That's 5 months that I'm gonna have to stay pretty close to home again.
Don't see any fishin for me for at least 2 or 3 months.
Oh well. At least it's winter time right now. Come March/April I'm gonna be ready to try the bass spawn though.

That is a bummer for sure, Steve. But, as you say, it is what it is and you do with what you have, one thing for sure with Sue, it isn't luck. How did she do it? Prayers are with you both, buddy.

Hey Randy.
This is a new injury. However, she injured it BECAUSE she didn't have the use of her left arm to help her lift something she shouldn't have lifted. Oh well, live and learn I guess.
I think you might be right bout postponing this event. Just doesn't look good for everybody to be vaccinated by then and with a gathering this big from all over the country, I think it should be required to be vaccinated to attend. IDK.

As much as i long to put faces to the many words i think we should make a call on the M & G mid Feb.

Lets see what happens if there is a new push on getting the vaccines out by the end of this month.

There may be some who cannot take the vaccine for medical reasons too, such as being allergic to it. They say if you are allergic to the flu vaccine, DO NOT take the Covid vaccine.

In any case, we will continue to pray for Sue and you. 🙏🏻

We should be able to make a call by then (mid Feb.). At this point, it’s not looking real positive that they will have the vaccine available for everyone by May.

Thanks brother.
Out of the 300,000 or so vaccines given here in the SF Bay Area, I think there were only bout 3 people that an allergic reaction to it. So the odds are pretty good out of the 60+ people that might attend there shouldn't be any allergic to it. I hope anyway.
