I remember mom telling me to change the channel and I turned the clicking dial that went from 1 to 13. We had 3 channels .
3 , 7 and 13
My favorite show was Andy Griffith and on Saturdays Rocky and Bulleinkle and Captain Kangaroo
Art Linkletter did the news

Who remembers the TV guide that used to come in the Sunday morning paper?

Also remember one in the evening paper for the night time shows.

Why do i ask? Because here i sit flicking the remote repeatedly thru way to many channels. Just to see what is on the 3 main channels spread out so far on this TV menu the battery is going to need replacing.

¿Can't you "key in" the particular #'s that would "tell the TV set" what channel you wanna watch?

You miss my not my TV post? Staying at step sons house for awhile till our house is ready. Two masters in a house, not a good thing.

Those were the days. Don’t think I miss the limited number of channels. Like my variety when I do watch. The news channels could go away - too depressing!

I would rather have three channels with good programming than 200 channels with garbage. Reality shows are about as far from reality as you can get.

Judging by the crap that is being shown on TV, they are having a hard time coming up with something that isn't pushing their idea of sexuality or politics!
