Hello all, just joined up after seeing a link to this forum on the TWRA site. Newly retired, got me a geezer’s lifetime sportsmen’s license, and just here to see what’s going on. Haven’t gone fishing in nearly 30 years, thanks to working too much. Time to get back to having fun.

Welcome back to fishing Phil.
Enjoy your time on the Stage!
Lots of good folks on here to learn from. Some of the jokes are very funny and the stories are entertaining.
Blount County. Lots of possibilities!
Welcome Phil, I often go down to Churchill Tennessee to hunt and fish with an old buddy from here in Pa. You’ve got fantastic opportunities for both.

Welcome Phil. We are close. I'm in Strawberry Plains. I haven't fished in just as long. Looking to hit Douglas and Cherokee Lakes this spring. Both are less than 30 minutes from my home. Great guys on FS and always solid advice. We do have some other TN FS members.
Hey Phil, don’t know where in East Tennessee but youre near great fishing. Great smallmouth in South Houston lake giant trout below the dam. Douglas and Cherokee have great bass, crappie walleye, white bass in the spring, Norris has it all. Fort loudoun, watts bar, tellico and Melton hill are all great. Best of luck young man
