New Guy! Anyways new to this area/forum. Headed down from ky to escape the snow for a bit in the Ft Pierce area. Will mostly be yak fishing this trip but who knows. Had a great couple weeks on the gulf side around around Thanksgiving but headed to the east shore to escape possible red tide problems like we had over there last winter.
I understand the the River over here flushes the same lake but it just seems like it might be a little easier to escape on this side of the state. Thanks for the add.

Catfish, that was 2019. This year has been a lot different. I live on the Ohio river and can fish 3 states in 20 minutes from home so that number is a lot easier to hit. Add in a trip to Lake Erie and you have another 3 states. That said retirement has made it easier for me to get around a bit more.

I can be in 4 states in 20 minutes where I live. I carry a minimum of 4 licenses and I don't need one at home any more.

Welcome to the Fishing Stage, Bglures! There used to be quite a bit of good fishing around Ft. Pierce.
Have you ever been there before? If not, let me know and I'll tell you a place to āœ“ for information.
Good luck with it all!

How about trying for all 50? That's an ambitious goal!
