Hi everyone, Thanks for the Add. I'm new to in-shore fishing. I'm looking for advice on catching Redfish, Speckled Trout and Southern Flounder down here in Port O'Conner Texas on the gulf coast.
I use to go deep sea fishing for Cod, Haddock and Flounder in Boston but that was just drop the bait down to the bottom, raise it up 6" and wait for a bite.

Ppatt1111: I forgot. Go to "Search" in the heading of Fishing Stages, and look for Texas Game and Fish Commission December report for Salt Water. I posted this a few days ago. It will give you a lot of ideas about the area. Just Sayin...RJS

Well, Hoss, there aren't any handy, nor do I have their phone number. It is just short hand so I don't type in Bull Shit. Shorthand! Just Sayin...RJS

Welcome to the Forum, ppatti, Google, "Inshore saltwater Rigs". I always use live shrimp for bait, others are kind of a waste of time. Good luck!

Well, I've never fished with Capt Marty or Matt, but this is the best way to learn where, when, and with what, in learning a new area. Just Sayin...RJS
