Just got home from the Petaluma River. Kinda slow this morning but we did managed to catch 5. Missed 2 and kept 2. The big one is 27 inches and 8 pounds. The smaller one is 25 inches and 5 pounds.
Got back to the dock early and found that someone stole Brads trailer hitch. Least they didn't steel the trailer too.
Other than that, was a pretty good morning.

Sorry to hear that about the hitch. Glad you caught fish.
When my trailer is not attached, my hitch is inside my cab. Lost one years ago but never since.

We were camping up in Canada on an Indian Reservation and when we got back they had stolen both wheels off of a boat trailer. Nice fish, saw, thanks for sharing.

Nice fish. Too bad about the hitch. I guess lesson learned. I’ve never had that misfortune but it could be luck. You can only hope the SOB hits his shin on it every time he goes out.

Yeah, I have mine locked onto my truck so they can't do that and my trailer is locked onto the hitch.
They could always cut the lock off and steal the trailer though.

With all the lithium battery powered tools they have now, they can cut anything off. We had a car dealer that lost over 50 catalytic converters off the lot.

It takes a real low life scum bag to steal anything from anybody! Bet that put you in a fix, hopefully you had an extra one in your truck Saw. Them were two nice fish you caught and sounds like you had lots of fun until you noticed the missing hitch. Stay safe and keep your lines tote!

No extra hitch with us. He had to call his wife and get her to go out and take the hitch off his other truck and then bring it down to the launch where we were.
Amazingly, it only took her bout 15 to 20 min to get it down to us.
Sure glad we came in early AND that we weren't over on the NAPA River. That would have been an hour or more wait.

My mom had someone steal a Betta fish out of her tank at work.
