Has the fall striper run started yet off the south Jersey beaches yet?

They’re starting to get surf stripers in and around the Belmar Sandy Hook area but with irregular consistency. Head boats in that same area are doing quite well

I have been out Friday and Saturday trolling from Atlantic City to Sea Isle City for stripers without a single bite. Reports are the stripers are still off LBI. Late migration. There have been some reported keepers in the surf and back bays in Ocean City, NJ. Caught a 29 inch striped bass a week ago off LBI. Still a lot of bate fish in the ocean

Only up north of ocean city. Nothing from the beaches near ww or stone harbor.. Maybe a few and far between.

I have been trying Sandy Hook out the past few weeks. Dogfish have been sucking up all the cut bait. Pulled in a few Hickory Shad, decent size. Went last Monday morning at first light up towards the point. After about an hour, picked up a hickory Shad and a short striper. Saw at least 5 more pulled in the same time frame,...then I had to leave for work:/ Haven’t seen any big ones pulled from the beach but heard the same about LBI, some keepers from the surf. Prob head back out next week for another go. Had the striper hit on a 4” swim Shad (white) with a teaser. All the Shad hit on the teaser, striper hit on the swim Shad, prob measured about 18”- the striper that is. Let me know how you make out
