Raining all last weekend. Checked out a local pawn shop’s fishing supplies. Bought three that looked interesting for $7. Fished one of them today. No complaints. Don’t miss out on pawn shop bargains.

It's a multi species lure --Rattle trap. Very popular right now with Whites, hybrids and when bass are hitting the back of wind blown coves. Makes no difference where you buy them. Jwid, that's a good price for the three of them. Thanks for the pics.

My bass like change. Nothing works consistently. Pawn shop discount gets them the variety they crave.

I never even thought to check a pawn shop for lures... smart move, scorned wives selling off a mans gear!

I've never found any lures worth buying at the pawn shops; however, I live in a lake community and have come across some really good finds on rods and reels. One worker there told me there is a local gal that pawns her live ins fishing equipment when they have a fight and he comes a few days later and gets it out of pawn. He said it's only happened twice in 2020, but I'm going to start checking this place more often--HA...

Fishing in southern Louisiana had the best luck with rattle traps...that's all we used...have a tackle box full of them but they don't seem to work in the FL panhandle...or maybe just lost my touch.

Cold and windy. Fished it like a jerk bait. Hard pull and rest, repeat.

Wow, never saw fishing tackle (or rods and reels, for that matter) in a pawn shop in Colorado. Now that I'm in coastal Virginia I will have to check it out!

Amazing what you might find in a Pawn Shop. Sage rod and reel a couple years ago for $300. Must have had a tracking device in it as it was stolen a week later😂 out of my locked truck - it was totally out of site. So it is now at least a three owner rod & reel.

Quoting on myself to update. More bass on the second of the pawn shop finds.
