That's crazy, just beautiful. Nature has some wild changes. It's like the calm before the storm. Thanks Gordon.

Really cool. I watched the unedited version afterwards and it was pretty too just not as dramatic.

We have some pretty trees in the east also. This one is near Ashville NC. on the Blue Ridge Parkway

Down by me and a little south it's all pines, you have to go north to see colors

I lived in Asheville for 13 years so I’m real familiar with that view. Blue Ridge Parkway was my favorite commute to and from work.

Chlorophyll becomes food for the roots to get through winter and the leaves change color. Then the leaves fall to insulate the roots because Jack Frost is upon us.

One of my best friends from HS was a professor at UNC Asheville and we made a few trips out there to visit. The drive up the Blue Ridge Pkwy. is one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen. Beautiful country out there. My friend built a house right up on top of a mountain outside Asheville with a spectacular view.

Interesting colors out in Utah, Gordon. Ours are more like your Blue ridge ones. Thanks for posting it.

Thanks for sharing our beautiful state in the fall.
Our colors totally depend on the fall moisture (rains) we get. If we get good fall rains the colors are magnificent. Even different canyons vary as one can get an abundance of rain and 5 miles (as the crow flies) over the hill the colors are drab because they didn’t get the rains. Kinda crazy!
