Im in norther Oklahoma and its about 40 to 55 degrees daily right now, ive been hanging out on the docks of different lakes and around ponds. Im mostly a bank fisher. Im not having much luck fishing my normal wheelhouse of jerk and crank baits. What kind of baits do you all use in this kind of rainy overcast and cold weather?

I’d throw sinkers maybe some finesse baits, fake worms, craws, creatures, jigs, ect. Basically anything you can move slow once its cold out bass tend to not want to chase unless it gets warm for a week or so.

Jigs for sure. Once it gets real cold at the tail end of fall try a dropshot rig.

Try bouncing a jig off the bottom, give it a long pause between bounces
SlowFarm - I just finished fishing a tournament here at Lake of the Ozarks; which has similar water conditions and weather as Oklahoma. The air temp started was 39 at takeoff and only got to 50 all day; cloudy and overcast. The water temp was 64-66*. The damn generation was 978 fps-minimal.
The three winning baits in the tournament were: double willow leaf white/chartreuse spinner baits on main lake points, shad color jerk baits worked in and around coves (halfway back) that had creeks in them, and a 3.8" shad color swim baits on 1/4 oz jig heads on and close to main lake points.
last year here on lake Tenkiller during October & November we had a great fall bite. Plastics worked wonders but it seemed the wild colors worked best. I used wacky worms in lime, white & any bright neon color & flukes the same way. When this nasty front & rain is over I hope to duplicate last years catch.
