Hello crappie welcome to the stage. Don't know much about it down there check out ( the old fisherman ) on YouTube he fishes Lake Murray it's not too far from there. Tight lines. I personally use small Jigs and Plastics or small live Minnie's for crappie

I was born in Ohio, and my passion was pheasant hunting. My brothers and I would go out on Saturday and bag our limit for years. Today, not a single pheasant to be found😞 One day I'll make it to South Dakota 😁

Crappie I use to pheasant hunt in northwest Kansas. There were 8 of us and would usually come close to limiting out. One year we limited out by 1pm. They had a hail storm the next spring, pretty widespread. Come pheasant season opening day 8 of us only got 2 birds! When I started deer hunting I quit hunting birds and never looked back. Bird hunting was fun but deer hunting will more than jump start your adrenaline! What a RUSH that can be especially when you rattle one in on the dead run. When I saw the big 10, I stopped and he stopped, 12 yards. I played back and forth games with the buck heading back and forth the way he came in with grunts/snort wheezes. 45 minutes later he’s 20 yards away and in my shooting lane. I let the arrow fly and he jumps the string and the arrow just touches hair as it sails over his back and is planted firmly in a tree trunk behind him. Man was that a RUSH!

I've done my share of deer hunting too😊 The one I remember best, Ohio, this big 8 pointer came out of a swampy area being chased by someones dogs. I was sitting at the north end of this ' bowl ' terrain when I see him in a trot. I left my 55# recurve pull site let go and that SOB jumped a fire path at the west end just as I let go!!! 😂😂😂 Missed by a mile

Yup, it happens but that’s what keeps me going back! Two days after rattling in the 10 I rattled in a big 8. It came in on the run. It stopped when i did for about a minute then proceeded into my shooting lane. I shot it in the same hoof prints as the 10 was in. Made a double lung shot which was right on the money.

¡Welcome, 29483! I'm completely ignorant, concerning your location, but; I'm betting there's some on here, who know your neck'o the woods.
