Looking for any info on fish counts, fishing trends and any other info on current and forecast salmon fishing and steelhead fishing on the california Smith river. I'm heading up there in a week or so. Thanks for any info or recommendations for good info.

Check with the folks at fisherman warehouse they may be able to help you! Good luck, let us know how you did on the Smith River!

One source you should check out is Ifish, a chat room for fishers that centers on Oregon and Washington but contains some comments and info from Northern California. Good luck and stay safe.

Chetco and Smith are blown out right now but they clear rapidly. Best flow around 3200 - 4200 cfs
