New to site. I just found the site and decided to join. First fishing site I have joined since Stripers Online about 18 years ago. That's when I started fishing for Stripers and Blues in the surf. Well, I should say resumed fishing for them after about 20 years off. Now this year, I just got back into fishing for trout in rivers ( how I started as a wee lad). I spin and fly fish depending on water. I've fished in B.C. and Washington state. I love " small exploring ". I'll beat game trails if there isn't one to get along a stream or river. Nothing like a native Brookie or Brown in the "quiet season". For me, just being out along the river is a day well spent. So as for me. I'm getting old but I figure if I can make it another 30 years I may actually get to Alaska, My #1 on the bucket list

Welcome to the stage Ranger. If you could, please go back to your profile page and put a nearby city and your state in location. That way we'll know where you're fishing. You'll get more replies to questions about local advice also. Thanks, and again Welcome.

Welcome to the stage ranger. Stripers and blues sounds like east coast, but Washington and BC say otherwise. Where you at? And post some photos. We love those on here.

Roger Fredfish you asked it the proper way. Ranger needs to let us know what area his fishing is in so we can guide him through any problems easier.

Welcome, 589! (I was a little slow, on noticing your arrival.) If you're still breathing, let us know if you've been catching anything.
