Roosevelt is beautiful
Lived in Tucson early 80s. Saw first 10 pounder from that lake. Went IO for long weekend , took lots of beer and no food. Mistake!
At that time could barely throw a Gold countdown rapala in evening without getting crushed.

Second best time of the year is on its way. Water temps are starting down and the bass will begin to come up and gorge themselves for the winter. Watch for bait in and around cuts and bushes (I usually prefer the Salt end and around the back of Rabbit Isk.). I start with top, buzz, and Niko worms around the bait and brush lines. If that’s not working might try Carolina rigs and drop-shot (drop almost always works when it gets tough). It’s still Hot during the day - take lotsa water! Good luck......
