I haven't fished in over 20 years until this weekend. Using a cheap rod and blood worms for bait, I did catch one small catfish (YEA!) from a pier on Lake Marion, SC, but didn't know how to cook it, so I gave it away. I want to fish from a pier on Lake Murray, SC and could use any advice on how to catch pan fish for eating. Thanks!

Crappie.> Live minnows Lures> Get a fishing license

Bream> Worms

Bass> Large shiners

Nail Catfish to a tree, Cut completely around the fish. Use pliers and skin it. Dredge in eggs then flour or cracker meal. Fry each side about 4 minutes depending on size.
