Sorry guys we didn't catch any halibut. We did catch some bait but that's all. Was a beautiful day and we had a nice time, but no fish. No pics either.

The great time was worth it. Fish are good but secondary. Stay safe out there and they will be bigger next trip.

Pretty sure I know right where that's at. There are some places to stay right up over the water. Very pricey. That's why we stay in Petaluma and drive over. Yeah, just checked online, it starts about 400 a night and goes from there. Right in Marshall. We were looking at a property over there in Marshall, 1 1/2 acres with 2br 1 1/2 bath 1200 sq ft house. 3 mil. Come on lottery.

Yeah, it was really nice over there. When we left for home it was in the mid 60s. When we got home it was 97 or 98.

Catching bait beats buying bait, any day. Y; at least you enjoyed doing what you were doing. Better days are comin'!

Know what you mean Saw with the weather. I left 5am temps right around 74. Still dark paddled about 2 miles up stream nestled in on my spot around 5:45 1st cast nice 18" trout. Worked my way back and at 10am it was 90. But well worth the trip ended up with 3 keepers and a bunch of catch and release.

Pays to get out there and beat the heat in these parts.
