Good morning everyone, good evening CD. 46* now, 50 this afternoon, East wind gusting to 30 MPH, 90% chance of rain, .75" - 1.0" total today with another 1.0" tonight. Have a good one!

I think so Whitey. Once I'm up, I'm up for the day. I used to take the boat out for fishing in northern WI at grandparents cottage when they were all still sleeping. Lake as smooth as glass. Just me, the sunrise, some ducks and loons and fish. I miss those days. How come the past always seems better to us years later?

Morning G, the past always seems better because we were young enough to enjoy it. In the past I would have been on the lake right now, just like your past, I'd meet the sun as it rose from the east. Now I content to sit here with my coffee cup, watch the sun come up from my chair typing on this keyboard. Don't really want to go back but oh to feel like that again, no pains on creaky joints. Youth has it's advantages just like age, big difference

Age is about looking back at all the things you've learned over the years and wishing you felt like going out and doing some of them.
Youth is looking forward to all the new things there are to learn and having the energy to go out and do them.

Morning all boy I feel old all of a sudden. If you're still a young person, enjoy it while you can.

I usually get up early, between 4 - 5, but the last couple of mornings I've gotten up to take a whiz about 1:00 and I haven't been able to get back to sleep and I just lay there and get mad, so, I got up, and looked at the FS and then laid down on the sofa and dozed off. Now I'm ready to go.

I can relate. That getting up to whiz is annoying. I think a lot of people are having sleepless nights lately. Our routines have been changed. We try and put it out of heads but subconsciously, it's still there. Ivey, you really summed it up for me on the young vs. old thing.

Now I know why Grandma always told me "enjoy life while you're young enough to". Back then I really didn't think much about it, now days I realize Grandma was a very wise woman.

Morning all. Getting used to laying in a bit longer in the morning. When the sun's up I'm up but my wife is working from home so now I don't need to get up. Anyway 48* and not going beyond 50. Rain all day but I might try to find a good fishing spot. I want to get a new casting setup but I'm still avoiding everything except my wife. Don't know the equipment well enough to buy on line. Haven't fished fresh in a long time.

Morning Ivey and g1 and y’all. Boy do I hear what you all are saying about getting old. When it dawns on you that there is never going to be another day that you’re not in pain it really sucks. But then I see the mentally ill guy standing on the corner with his worn out cardboard sign and I realize my life is pretty damn good. Especially when I come through the door and my wife greets me with a kiss and a hug and a “ I love you “. Life is good. 🐠🕺 by the way it’s 42 heading to 55 with a chance of rain. Making a chicken coop today.
