On December 28, 1990, Los Angeles detective, Robert Crupi set a line class IGFA world record largemouth bass on a 3/4 oz chrome Crippled Herring metal jig. He was vertical jigging in 40 ft of water on Lake Castiac. During the 1990's, Lake Castiac was producing a great number of very large bass with the Crippled Herring. Robert Crupi ended up with two world records with the largest bass weighing 22.01 lbs. Hope this helps...Pete
