Both Lynne and I, Ken, like fishing but have seldom caught anything. Now its time to do that a bit differently. We want fishing to augment our food supply as we travel in our RV. We welcome help and advice. Since everything we have done so far was fun, but caught nothing; we are starting completely over. We hope this site will help us. Our rv community online has helped us immensely with outfitting our rv... so we are looking forward to meeting you and learning to become fishermen...
Ken and Lynne.

I use a Porta-Bote strapped to the side of my RV. Porta Bote ,Seats, Oars, Trolling Motor, Outboard Motor fit in the basement of the RV. Or I strap Porta-Bote to roof of my V6 AWD RAV 4, which I Flat tow behind My RV. On the front of the RV I have an UBCO 2x2 bike and on the rear of the RAV 4 a ROKON 2x2 gas powered 2x2. My wife rides the UBCO while I ride the ROKON. We go to State, National and County parks and private campgrounds, which have camping and lakes or ocean where fish, these bodies of water.

Hi, GA LIMEY,

Interesting. Are the bikes powered?

We have a sea eagle inflatable 16 foot fishing boat with a Honda 2.3 hp. motor and canopy. The boat rolls up and fits with the motor in a fold-up cargo carrier mounted on a hitch on the back of the Jeep. The gas can fits on the spare tire on hte back of the Jeep as well. The seats and transom fit in a luggage carrier on top and back of the Jeep roof.

Both have two wheel drives,go any where. UBCO weights 139 UBCO does 75 miles on a charge and ROKON use 1/4 gallon per hour @ Full speed. & weights 239 Lbs. I tow my Porta-Bote from campsite to Launch ramp to go Fishing. also explore off road and on road since street legal. I use a BLACKWIDOWfolding aluminum wheel-less carrier on a 2" receiver on the front of my Ford E-450 chassis and a 8 " wide track Versahaul Wheelless carrier on my Flat Towed Rav 4
