I'm happy with my Garmin striker 4. Budget friendly way to get into it.

I purchased a cheaper lowrance (like $150?) And really wish I would have saved more for a better unit. It's pretty meh, and anything deeper than about 20ft it just goes blank

I had both the Hummingbird Helix and I could not even see the screen in the sun, so I went to the Garmin striker 4 and I can see everything and it is easy to use as I still have all my hair!

Check out the LUCKY CASTING FISH FINDER about $50.00 instead of spending all that money on a fixed in place big screen machine taking up all that area in your Kayak.
