That's a lot of cleaning to do, but that's part of the game.
Got a good picture of the rod holder?
If they work for ice fishing they might also work from a boat if you get into the crappie?

And I always thought fish stopped biting in cold water.
Does the rod just sit on top of the three legged holder balanced? Sure looks like fun Egghead
I ended up with 31 fish I will get better pictures of the rod holders when I get home tonight

Great day of fishing. Thank you.
Cool thanks Egg. I always like seeing the pictures buddy. Sure looks like fun. My relatives all got to ice fish in IOWA and Minnesota but I have never done it.
Comparing the size of the fish to your ice scoop and thermos....and taking your little slogan at face value.... I guess you DID NOT get to "pee a little bit" that day.... LOL !
Sorry, couldn't resist !
Lol.nope didn't get to pee.hahaha. started out the day at -16 degrees no wind today !!!!! Awesome day fish or no fish. Home made custom rods home made jigging rod holders all came together. Kinda tough watching 3 rods with one eyeball, but get used to it.
Great batch of Perch, when do we get invited over for your fish fry...
Thanks fellas come in over. Got some home made choke cherry wine/shine fish n chips and some good BS@#$... Here's the pics if my rod holders. East to make.First get you some 10" gear ties they work great. Cut first piece 28" mark off 4" heat and bend 90 degrees. Grind a groove half way thru for the gear tie wrap. Cut second piece 28" bend at 14". Weld the upright rod holders to the base. Wrap the fear ties around rod where it will balance with the tip slightly lower than the handle so fish won't feel resistance. Hope the pictures are good lol
