The best place to fish is where kids don't throw rocks in the water and the temp is just right , not raining and you can sit there and relax and wait for a "strike" and reel it in. Open a beer and grab something to eat and turn around and tell your wife.......Thank you for coming with me.

This coming fall will be my husband and I 10 years anniversary and I want to offer him the fishing trip of a lifetime. If you could go fishing anywhere in the world, where would you want to go?

Looking at all the suggestions and your responses, you have yet to tell us WHAT KIND OF FISHING DOES HE LIKE?

Loc: Waushara Cnty Wisconsin and Port Charlotte Fl
Northern Saskatchuan, Canada for walleye, northern pike and lake trout.
Cabo San Lucas for striped marlin, tuna and dorado.
Venice La. for red fish, trout, tuna and wahoo
Northern Wisconsin for walleye, Muskie, northern and panfish.
Fished the kenai River many years ago. Stayed at a fish camp right on the river. Think it was great Alaska lodge. Excellent food, they cleaned and processed all fish caught and even cook a fresh fish lunch on a remote island on one of the boat trips. A truly unforgettable experience.

cree river lodge . northern saskatchewan
Best depends on interest. I wouldn't quarrel with Alaska Salmon--Internet contact Guide services and choose. Halibut are included at the right time of year.
As an aside, the Columbia River below Bonneville Dam is the best sturgeon fishery in the world, due to the requirement that all breeding age fish be released; keepers under 6 ft only. Below the dam, 8 to 12 footers are common and guided "big game" trips are just about guaranteed to put you onto several in the too large to keep class. A real experience to pull in a 300 pounder!
Lived, worked and fished in Florida for many years...The absolute best place for fishing is Islamorada...The Moorings is a 5 star resort...Bud and Marys Marina has the most extensive charter fleet plus you can hand feed wild tarpon from their docks...This area is considered the sport fishing capital of the entire US..Suggest you contact the Islamorada Chamber of Commerce for more information...
Hand feed a tarpon, huh ? Every serious fisherman's dream....lol.
They really hand feed tarpons there,I have seen it. You can find it on You Tube.
Apparently I should have been more blunt....Who the f*** wants to hand feed a tarpon ? What is it, a 'Dude Ranch' for wannabe fisherpersons ? My friend has a Koi pond, ....really big ones, man....didja wanna visit ? LMAO.
