What a tough season for me seen one small 4 point in two weeks of off and on hunting here on the farm maybe he’ll be a eight next year.

Kansas firearms started the 5th I believe and I get to go next weekend with my youngest son and 2 grandsons.

Next Sunday is the end of regular firearms season, there is a antler less in January I believe.

My wife and I ALMOST “got” a big buck this morning on the way to church. Just after 7:00 we were about half way to church on Hwy 24 doing 55 mph when he came across the highway on a dead sprint. Didn’t even see him till he hit the highway right in front of us. I hit the brakes and swerved, missing him by only inches. Still can’t believe we didn’t hit him. JC was watching out for us I guess.
