I was leaning more towards the root beer float at the Rexall drug store counter on the corner of Elm Street.

Shame that there is not a 1 hour daily news show devoted to what good things happen everyday. Something to bring spirits up and people together on happier topics.

Its that window at 5:30 till 7 that either the news is on or reruns of crap shows that I find myself a little antsy. Wife has it on so overhearing is the problem and then hear something like what happen yesterday at the Naval yard concerns me how did this jerk ever get that far without being noticed.

IN the short time I have been a grown up I have found out that most of what goes on are things which I have no control over. I check in from time to time to see when the next war is going to start or what disaster has occurred but for the most part I try to leave it alone. In my prayer every day I remind Dad that stuff is a mess and He could help us all a whole bunch if He could place the folks who can fix it into places where they can actually do it, IF He should choose not to do it Himself which would be the absolute best. That done I attempt to focus on the beauty that surrounds me and the love that consumes me and maybe, just maybe, spend some time out away from the madness and experience creation. I hope Randy is reading this cuz I'm trying really hard to get on his good side for once.
