Techguyhotel….just pay a local fishing guide for a trip once....learn all their tricks...and location...location...location. If there are NO LOCAL GUIDES then there are NO LOCAL FISH. A good fisherman is patient. You will figure out what your not doing and then this will all be in the rear view mirror. Ask around at fishing equipment stores etc find other people to fish with to find locations. You gotta go where the fish are to catch them. Like Working you gotta go where the money is.

Always learning, my best advice would be,find someone who fishes the waters you fish and get them to let you tag along. Start with a couple of types of lures an learn how to use them. U tube can be helpful. Always remember when shopping, lures are designed to catch fishermen.
Tight line's

Start simple then work your way up.For bass, I like what was stated earlier, senko, or ned rig. If I was good, I'd be fishing tournament trails! Keep fishing and learning each trip!! NEVER GIVE UP!! Tight lines everyone!

Query: Do you not have friends who fish ? As a youngster, my grandfather taught me the basics; fortunately for me, he was a very patient man ! I was 20 yrs. old
when he passed, and so heartbroken that I didn't fish at all for several years ! When I started a new job some years later, I met a young friend with whom I hit it off very well; he was an avid fisherman and persuaded me to start in again ! Fishing with an experienced, knowledgeable
partner is one of the best ways to learn; I improved to the point where I was catching more and bigger trout and bass on a fairly consistent basis ! Find/make a friend who can be your mentor on the water and you will improve and appreciate it so much faster than trying it alone ! Plus the buddy system is always better and safer,
and could conceivably save your life in a tough situation !

Don't get me wrong, I love catching fish but just being out on the water watching the sun raise and set waiting on the tip of the rod to dance a little makes my day. Watching the white caps slap the side of the boat or sitting in calm water fighting off the gnats, Every day is different. I enjoy catching fish, but I also enjoy nature.

Are you saying you enjoy watching a pole dance??? Hohoho🎅🏻👀

Yes ! Yes I do ! Whether it's a fishing pole 'dancing' from a large fish on the line, or some curvaceous cutie 'dancing' around in a skimpy outfit, it doesn't matter if she's French, German, or a 'Pole', as long as she 's 'hot' !

Sorry if anyone's upset; I guess it comes from being a 'dirty old man' with a warped sense of humor !
