A fishing Stage Thanksgiving Meal

A few folks decided to get together, talk fishing stories and fix a meal that all will remember. The first Pickle was how would we get Gordon to pay and the call was made to the bankstalker. Admin gets the Oldsalt in the air and judged it out 32 times with Jim Red. Back and Forth thread after thread and Admin arranged and paid for the entire uncut 6 course teabag feast. How nice of them was that?
R man suggested to Bob O that Eastern OZ land was his first choice of venue which is only right because that is the center for so many tales of the deep. Only objection was from Mad Mac and Mister Twister, tis the season after all they say. However the good neighbor of OZ Randy H, talked it over with Helen and Tammy Sue. It was agreed on that Randy will bring the big screen for some special Hallmark moments on fishing with the old folks. Thus the venue was set.
The Texas clan firecracker Jess A, Steve the Bankstalker, Instigating badbobby, and say no evil jrchop all were coming by flybynight airlines. Which by the way was Hacksaw's parts from Vietnam home made chopper. All were bragging about hunterbills and Ron's 620 lbs catch of the day, while paddygirl was in ground control landing that chopper on a dime. Upon hitting that red cross on the ground it was noticed that Dennisjj had taken the controls. Because Hack with his new fishing hat was on gun duty with a mission to keep an eye out for any smokypigs and worse of all bottomcoons. After all Big Rod and Big Dog don't want competition at the table, Big A was enough of a problem anyway. Hoss just wanted to know will there even be enough?
Well given the distance fix had no fish and had to fly with guy. He said I'll bring some Oregon fish and Edkealer asked Spirit 27 times to please bring the limes. It was just seborf that wanted none of the &%@%* AKA ( stuff ).
On their way over looked down on the ground and saw a Graywulff and mentioned Spirits peppers would go good with a slice of Smokypig. But then realized what's a party with out some bass on their face. So they swept south out of their way, picked up some Raw Dawg meat from Garry's grill and just so happen to drop down in Tennessee. Thankfully saved by that fishinfool they were safely on their way.
All is not lost, Alabama Bill brought the Byrd and cleaned it with Tom's h vac. So with kvothe special jersey seasoning and wvmikes shine, a meal to remember was soon to be consumed and enjoyed.
Ah but just wait, not quite ready yet, audigger hasn't brought the plum for bob to eat. But no worries even though some of us are sitn with sinners, Denny Longley will lead us in Thanks not only for this special meal, but we all could use a prayer.

This Thanksgiving will be my first in 24 years without my wife there is some sadness but i pray to god he will make it good.

You are welcome Fly. Yes it took some time but well worth it. Actually the user names were less when I started and as time went by more regulars have been on the stage and some have lessen up. All in all its in good clean fun.

To be honest Dennis God directed me to spell check and patience. Like fishing patience is required and words will come in time as the fish will bite. Not everyday so laugh when i can, listen and learn, and most of all I try and be kind.
Dennis I wish there were words of comfort that could magically jump through this screen to help the wounds of your loss. I am sure many on this stage are with you in thoughts of a their own loved ones that are not with them. And even though that doesn't help much, it does help knowing that others in your life on this stage and there in Kinston NC we all are in this together and we do care.

That being said, scripture tells us to celebrate the homecoming of those called Home, albeit hard and painful. Jesus came to walk with us to bind up the broken hearted and heal the sick. I ask Jesus to come rest your heart ESPECIALLY through this hard time. We are with you as well, Brother... and like PB has already said, we care. God bless you brother.
